Originating from one of Max’s early experiments where he added a small LED module to a paper envelope and pierced it to let a narrow beam of light shine through.

The fixture is composed of an extruded aluminum heatsink gently anchored to a folded paper diffuser imitating an envelope . It provides warm ambient light and projects a 3.000K spotlight.

Though Parachilna was founded in 2013, it’s built on a legacy that dates back to the 1930s, when the Riera family first stepped into the world of lighting. The original brand called Metalarte, was a pioneer in Spanish design. It gave opportunities to young designers that later became legends such as André Ricard, Antoni Arola or Jaime Hayon.

Three generations later, Parachilna continues that journey—with a renewed spirit and a vision rooted in craftsmanship, innovation, and design culture.
